Few Americans are untouched by Red Cross services - all made possible by volunteers, people like you. Our communities need our help. There are so many needs and so many ways to serve. Call us today!
All volunteers are required to attend an orientation at the chapter. You will meet our staff and other volunteers, as well as discover what opportunities exist for you with the Mountain Valley Chapter!

Open Positions:

Utility Assistance Case Worker ~

The chapter is looking for an individual that can help manage our Utility Assistance Program. Interested persons need to be available in the office for about 10 hours per week. Training and orientation are provided by the chapter. No experience necessary, but social work experience a plus.

CPR/First Aid Instructors ~

We are always in need of motivated people to become certified to teach Health & Safety courses at our chapter and for businesses. Volunteers would need to take an instructor course.

Disaster Action Team ~

More than 275 of your neighbors are trained to respond to any size of emergency. Become one of them by attending our FREE disaster training courses or contacting Jessica Embley at 801.373.8580.

First Aid Station Worker ~

If you are certified in first aid and CPR, come join us at community events while staffing a first aid station. Most first aid stations are held during the spring and summer months.

Telecare Worker ~

Elderly citizens in our community need your help. Telecare workers make phone calls to members of our community every day to ensure their safety and comfort. Visit here for more information.
